Clinical and Natural Scar Removal Methods

by Catalina Igor

People affected by acne scars suffer from low self esteem and confidence. Therefore, there are two different types of skin treatments for scars that will depend on the person, these are: the clinical scar removal and the natural scar removal.

A scar results from the biologic process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. There are several different types of scars including keloid scars, acne and stretch marks, the most popular ones. All these types of scars can be treated by a surgery treatment or just naturally. When looking for a scar removal treatment, you may ask yourself: What is the best acne scar treatment? Is there any scar treatment without surgery? How can I effectively get rid of scars? Is a clinical scar removal appropriate?

On the one hand, there is the clinical scar removal treatment. Whether the surgery is desired for functional or cosmetic reasons, your choice of a scar plastic surgery is of paramount importance. Different scars require different treatments. A surgical scar removal may be effective for severe scars

On the other hand, there are several herbal and natural ways of getting rid of such ugly scars. People often ignore natural scar treatments but they can be helpful in treating certain types of scars. Aloe vera, cucumber, and Indian gooseberry are some herbal treatments for getting rid of scars. There are also certain natural scar recipes that can be very helpful in treating acne scars, such as ice cube scar treatment, honey scar treatment, vinegar for acne scar treatment, tea tree oil, and olive oil and almond oil.

Clinical Side Effects

Unfortunately, it is not easy. Surgery can provoke new scars and is usually only advisable for scars that are very wide, long, or otherwise prominent. The most common side effect of surgeries is infection or allergic reactions, which can be solved with medicated ointments, creams, or oral antibiotics. People who suffer from skin disorders such as psoriasis, cystic acne, and dermatitis, may not be ideal candidates. Moreover, bleeding and bacterial infection are frequent side effects of this procedure.

Nevertheless, herbs have been proven to be slow but safe acne treatment methods. Therefore, it can be said that a natural scar treatment can be better than a clinical one. Do not forget, that natural recipes ingredients are easy to find and very cheap. Please note that in some rare cases, there could be an herbal food allergy that may result in a skin reaction. In spite of full scar removal is not possible, the great majority of skin scars can dissapear.
