E-cigarettes don't produce ash, so there's no need to keep ashtrays, except as decoration. They also don't leave butts or filters behind. Needless to say, e-cigarettes are not difficult to maintain. Special models of e-cigarettes, such as NJOY electronic cigarettes, are outfitted with automatic cleaning systems which starts after a predetermined number of uses.
