Make your Own Natural Skin Care Products

1 tablespoon Aloe Vera in gel form

1 tablespoon of Almond Oil

Remember, rinse thoroughly and apply a moisturizer immediately afterwards.

Seed Scrub

You can use either one cup of finely ground flaxseed or sunflower seeds. Add a half cup of heavy cream or milk and stir. It can be used daily even if you have sensitive skin. This scrub is particularly good for the winter months as it helps restore moisture to the skin.

Homemade Facial Masks

Natural skin care for the face can help you avoid chemical products that can lead to irritation. This is especially important when treating the more delicate areas of your skin.

Grated Cucumber Tonic

You can use grated cucumber as a tonic or simple place cucumber slices on your eyes to reduce puffiness. It can also be mixed with milk or lime juice to make a gentle whitener.

A Scar Treatment Made with Oranges

An orange tonic recipe can also be used as an effective, natural scar treatment. This is done by blanching and grinding a couple of almonds to form a paste. Once that is done, add 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 tablespoons of carrot juice and 1 tablespoon of orange juice.

Once the mixture is completed, apply to the face and leave on for 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water.
